I am a scholar of Ancient Greek Philosophy and the Philosophy of Mathematics, specialising in the ontological status of mathematical entities and their methodological role in Platonic thought. I completed my PhD at the University of Edinburgh in 2025, where my dissertation, 'Ontology Through the Lenses of Mathematics', argued for the existence of Mathematical Intermediates in Plato’s middle dialogues. My current research explores the 'power of mathematics' as a transformative tool in Plato’s early methods (Meno) and the rehearsal of Sophist methodologies in the Theaetetus. I also collaborate on the intersection of Epicureanism and mathematics…

Beyond research, I am a dedicated public philosopher. I host the annual course 'Sabiduría Griega Para el Mundo Moderno' for the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and run the YouTube channel 'Chihon Teaches' (outreach in Ancient Greek, logic, and etymology). I am a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English and French, and available for international research collaborations.
