I am a philosopher currently based in Scotland.
My research explores how speech can shape the social world, and covers topics in social philosophy of language, political philosophy, epistemology, and feminist philosophy. I am particularly interested in the role played by ordinary communication in reinforcing unjust social structures, and the ways that online (and AI) communication are changing the norms that govern our communicative practices.
