I'm currently on leave from my department. This year I am teaching immigrant high school students outside of New York. I was the Chair of the Philosophy Department at SUNY Oneonta for a couple of years, yet those duties are now the focus of others. I teach cross-listed courses with Africana and Latino Studies, with which I share an appointment. My research has focused on the application of philosophical psychology to "urban" problems and issues of race, class, and gender.
