I am a member of the department of philosophy at the University of Cologne, Germany. My area of expertise is within epistemology and the philosophy of science, where I am particularly interested in problems of social epistemology and inductive as well as abductive inference. My area of competence covers the theory of definition, logic and argumentation, and history of analytic philosophy.
