I am currently pursuing a PhD in philosophy of science at the University of Cambridge under the primary supervision of Professor Marta Halina in the History & Philosophy of Science department. In my dissertation, I explore the scopes and limits of evolutionary reasoning in the science of consciousness. I am also currently working on AI consciousness, particularly on the question whether instantiating consciousness requires biology and whether agnosticism about AI consciousness is defensible.
I previously earned bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and psychology, as well as a research master’s degree in philosophy, from the University of Groningen.
