I'm Chris, I completed my Ph.D. at Emory University in 2020 with a dissertation entitled "The Metaphysics of Temporality: Heidegger's Later Concept of Time". My primary research areas are in metaphysics (time), phenomenology (Husserl, Heidegger, and Merleau-Ponty), the history of philosophy, and environmental philosophy.
I am also the founder of the New York Phenomenology Research Group.
I'm a trained chef and I've been a vegetarian for more than 20 years. I'm an avid music lover and concert goer, a U.S. Army veteran, and a former TEFL instructor.
