Claudia Gâlgău

I am a PhD fellow at the Centre for Research in Political Philosophy and Ethics at KU Leuven, working at the intersection of social and political philosophy, epistemology and social ontology. My dissertation, funded by an FWO fundamental research grant, develops a novel account of oppression, starting from the intersectional experiences of precarious migrants. Using this account, the dissertation illuminates new forms of epistemic and ontological injustice and critiques current approaches to migration justice. Before starting my PhD, I was working as a journalist in Amsterdam.
