The essay takes anamorphosis as a key for looking at language models. It starts from the painting of two ambassadors made by Holbein in 1533, whose grey stain becomes a skull only when seen from the side, and follows the technique through Leonardo's notebooks, Andrea Pozzo's painted vaults and mirror anamorphoses. Seen head-on, a conversation with a model shows an interlocutor; from the side an egoless phantom appears, derivative, inexhaustible, generically indeterminate and passive, traits that pass for virtues when seen from the front. With Ryle's category mistake, Searle's Chinese room and the shift from the medieval view sub specie aeternitatis to Renaissance perspective, it argues that we must learn to change our angle.

The essay argues that before discussing the effects of artificial intelligence one has to ask what it is. Against the vocabulary that credits the model with understanding, knowing or lying, it traces a genealogy of machines that seemed to think, from Albertus Magnus's talking head and Hobbes's reckoning to ELIZA, Searle's Chinese Room and Chomsky's critique. It proposes to think of the model as an egoless phantom in the phenomenological sense: a presence that speaks with no one behind it, derivative, passive, generically indeterminate and without a relation to truth. Its failures follow from that ontology, and in that contrast what human understanding is becomes clearer.

El presente trabajo estudia los fenómenos teóricos que colocaron a la dialéctica estoica como eje de la constitución de la gramática como disciplina autónoma, a partir de la división entre dialéctica de significantes y dialéctica de significados. Luego, se propone un abordaje crítico respecto del status de la tradicional disputa "analogistas vs. anomalistas" que pone de manifiesto las relaciones entre dialéctica estoica y filología alejandrina y de este modo da cuenta de los presupuestos que hicieron posible la conexión entre ambas corrientes. Este recorrido permite atisbar hasta qué punto la gramática técnica no se separa de sus orígenes teóricos en el estoicismo y la impronta de la dialéctica en sus dos vertientes se mantiene presente en etapas maduras de la disciplina.

The testimonies of Stilpo of Megara show an anti-Platonic position within the megaric program against fundationists attempts. This paper studies a particular point of this deployment. We will review the origin of the views that locate thruth on the onomastic or on the predicative level. This initial survey will provide the basis for the study of the paradoxes of the nomination, an element Stilpo used as a tool to challenge the theory of Forms, and the analysis of the aporias of predication, through which he rejects the combination of parts of the sentence in order to represent reality. The figure of Stilpo reveals the dialogical context in which ancient philosophies developed and, at the same time, displays ways of thinking the relationship between language and reality often forgotten.

Resumen Este trabajo releva la importancia del planteo acerca de la intersubjetividad y la empatía en el diálogo platónico Alcibíades I con el propósito de mostrar su relevancia para la comprensión del decurso de las ideas antropológicas antiguas y su valor como estudio de caso sobre el diálogo entre ideas filosóficas de distintos momentos históricos. Con esa finalidad, se examina la definición de ser humano y el símil de la mirada en su estructura argumental y se los pone en conexión con los desarrollos contemporáneos de cuño fenomenológico acerca de la intersubjetividad y la empatía para iluminar este problema y mostrar la potencia del estudio de los diálogos interepocales como elemento primario de la lógica filosófica.This work highlights the significance of the study on intersubjectivity and empathy in the platonic Alcibiades I to show its relevance for the understanding of the development of ancient anthropology and its value as a case study on the dialogue between philosophical ideas from different historical moments. For this purpose, we will examine the definition of the human being and the analogy of the sight, and we will connect this approaches with contemporary phenomenological views about intersubjectivity and empathy in order to explore this issue and to reveal the power of inter-epochal dialogue as a primary element of the internal logic of philosophy.

El avance de los estudios sobre filosofías socráticas ha permitido una vuelta renovada al examen de pasajes intertextuales en el corpus platónico. El presente trabajo explora pasaje del sueño de Teeteto, 201c ss. y sus vínculos con la filosofía antisténica. En primer lugar, analiza las características de esta obra en el contexto del diálogo socrático. En segundo lugar, traza las coordenadas exegéticas del pasaje del sueño, y finalmente, ofrece una interpretación de la filosofía antisténica que revela contactos relevantes con el planteo platónico. Por esta vía, se despliega una hipótesis sobre el sentido general del diálogo y su modo de comprender el fenómeno del conocimiento.
