I am a philosophy student at the University of Illinois at Springfield. I have a BS in chemical engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from Oklahoma City University. I am hopeful that philosophy will compliment my engineering and business background and help me think through questions I have about the universe and our place in it. I have long had an interest in astronomy, cosmology and quantum mechanics and have read many books on these subjects over the years. But I do think that science can only go so far, at least as it now stands, so I hope philosophy can help me dig a little deeper.
