I'm a temporary Lecturer in Aesthetics at Uppsala University. Before this, I was an Associate Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of St Andrews.
My expertise and interests primarily span four areas:
1) Aesthetic normativity and related/overlapping issues in socio-political, moral, and epistemic normativity.
2) The methodology of both philosophy in general and aesthetics more particularly. I also have a special interest in issues of diversification and inclusivity in philosophical pedagogy, particularly regarding how the discipline represents and organises itself.
3) The metaphysics and philosophy of mind underlying aesthetic life.…

4) The intellectual history of aesthetic thought. I have a special interest in Enlightenment aesthetics and Marxist aesthetics.
