I'm a fifth-year philosophy PhD candidate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I work primarily in the theory of normativity, construed broadly to include both metaethics and epistemology. I also work in applied epistemology, and I am a Graduate Fellow in the Applied Epistemology Project at UNC.

My overall research program centers on the role of deliberation in our normative lives. Specifically, my dissertation is a defense and application of a deliberation constraint on reasons – i.e. reasons are the sort of thing that must be able to feature in our deliberation.
