I am a Postdoc researcher in Environmental Ethics at the University of Jyväskylä (Finland).
My philosophical interests are broad, and include: Environmental non-economic values, Decolonizing environmental discourses, Ecofeminism, Feminist Posthumanism, Indigenous Traditional Ecological knowledge (TEK), Decolonial critique.
In May 2024, I received my Doctor Degree in Environmental Ethics at the Discipline of Practical Philosophy (Faculty of Social Sciences), University of Helsinki, Finland.
I worked for 6 year in the ValueBioMat project, funded by the SRC (Strategic Research Council), Research council of Finland (2019-2025) affiliated to the University of Lapland, Rovaniemi, Finland.
Currently I am supervising 1 Master student (Policy and sustainability) and 1 Doctoral student (Sustainability science). In the Fall 2025, I acted as Master thesis pre-examiner.
I teach the course "Ethics of Global Responsibility" at the University of Jyväskylä (Finland). I have been teaching courses on Environmental Ethics in Finland at the University of Tampere and University of Helsinki; as well as at Nordhausen University of Applied Science (Germany).
I am a reviewer for academic journals such as The Monist, People and Nature (PAN), Food Ethics and NoMe (Nordicum Mediterraneum).
I am one of the coordinator of ECRs (Early Career Researchers) weekly writing workshop at the Univ. of Helsinki since the Fall 2025.
I am in the Board of YHYS (The Finnish Society for Environmental Social Science) (2022--).
I was visiting lecturer at the University of Palermo (Italy) in 2018 and 2017 and in Aalto University (Finland) in 2025, 2024 and 2019.
In the past, I was visiting scholar at: Brown University, RI, in the USA; the University of Iceland in Reykjavik (Iceland); the University of Latvia, in Riga (Latvia) and the Université de Dijon (France).
I was a Board member at Nordic Summer University (NSU) network (2015-2016). I received the Master in Moral Philosophy degree at the University of Bologna, in Italy, with the highest grade.
