Cressida J. Heyes is a Henry Marshall Tory Chair and Professor of Philosophy and Political Science at the University of Alberta. She is the author of three monographs, most recently Anaesthetics of Existence: Essays on Experience at the Edge (Duke University Press, 2020). They are currently writing the first feminist philosophy of sleep.
