I’m working on gender disparities in the medical and healthcare field. Specifically, I am interested in the interaction between perinatal care personnel and pregnant, parturient and postpartum individuals during prenatal care, labour, delivery, and the postpartum period. I would like to contribute to identifying communication strategies that enhance perinatal care effectiveness by minimising misunderstandings, epistemic injustice and concerns.
