Cuizhu Wang

I specialise in behavioural modelling, belief modelling, and norm modelling. My research lies at the intersection of philosophy of social sciences, behavioural economics, and statistical modelling. Methodologically, I conduct experiments and advocate the most rigorous methods borrowed from behavioural economics and statistics to contribute to further specifications to current popular theories on modelling normative behaviours. On the theoretical side, I am interested in the ontology of normative beliefs, and the cognitive aspect of such kind of belief being held. I am also interested in network science in understanding the dynamics of normative beliefs. My ultimate goal is to contribute to normative modelling aiming at changing harmful norms that constrain human well-being at a large scale.
