I am an assistant professor at New York University Shanghai (NYU Shanghai). I specialize in 18th century German philosophy, with an emphasis on Kant's theoretical philosophy. Most of my published work has focused on understanding Immanuel Kant in light of the ideas and arguments of his German predecessors (esp. Wolff and Crusius). Currently, I am working on making sense of Kant's theory of truth.
