I am a philosopher based at the Open University in the UK, working in the philosophy of mind/psychology and aesthetics, but also dabbling in social epistemology and ethics.
I previously worked at the universities of Southampton, Oxford, Antwerp and St Andrews.
Much of my current research concerns mental imagery and its roles in human cognition, a topic on which I am writing a book. I am also working on deepfakes, depression and magic, although not simultaneously.
