Daniel Nolan is Professor of Philosophy at the University of California Santa Cruz. Previously he was McMahon-Hank Professor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, and before that Professor of Philosophy at the Australian National University. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities.
