Method: clear answers to clear philosophical questions. Philosophy ought to try to describe things. Tradition: Analytic in the wide sense of giving clear answers to clear philosophical questions and defending them with arguments. Not analytic in the narrow sense of the linguistic turn or of using linguistics or semantics in philosophy. I see myself in the tradition of realist, scientific philosophy as represented by Anselm of Canterbury, Christoph Scheibler, Joseph Butler, Christian Thomasius, Christian August Crusius, Bernard Bolzano, Immanuel Hermann Fichte, Herman Ulrici, Roman Ingarden, Adolf Reinach, Max Scheler, Alexander Pfänder.
