I’m an associate professor of philosophy at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, where I've taught since 2010. Before that I was a post-doctoral fellow in the department of clinical bioethics at the National Institutes of Health. I received my PhD in philosophy from the University of Toronto, and an M.A. and B.A. in philosophy from the University of Sheffield.
I work mainly in moral philosophy. I am particularly interested in moral motivation and the ethics of consent.
