My main interests lie in metaethics, the philosophy of language, and the law.
At the intersection of the first two, I'm particularly interested in the pragmatics of moral discourse - the way in which moral statements shape the context of a conversation. I hope analysis of the uses of moral language can be illuminating for the discussion of correctness in moral judgment, particularly with respect to the publicity of practical reasons debate.
