I am a third-year PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, specialising in Black Male Studies, anti-colonial theory, social and political philosophy, the philosophy of psychiatry, and the philosophy of race and gender. My current research project aims to construct a comprehensive critique of the role played by Euro-American psy-disciplines in producing, sustaining, and reinforcing the systemic psychopathologisation of Black manhood.
