My research takes up an interdisciplinary approach towards thinking the intersections between ethics and aesthetics in the areas of Critical Philosophy of Race, Modern European Philosophy (Kant, Heidegger, Marcuse, Foucault) and American Pragmatism (James and Rorty). I am currently writing a dissertation on reflective judgment in meta-ethics based, in part, on Adrian Piper's analysis of Kantian self-conception and my own explication of black aesthetics towards a philosophically cynical cosmopolitan kingdom of ends.
