I am a PhD student of Philosophy at the University of Campinas (Unicamp). My research concerns themes from Aristotle's Metaphysics, Philosophy of Science, Epistemology and Philosophy of Language, all in dialogue with contemporary work in Analytic Philosophy. My current work aims to enlight the understanding of the relation between essence (ousia, to ti ên einai and maybe to ti esti), explanation (aition, aitia) and metaphysical necessity (anagkê) in Aristotle's philosophy.
