BA in English Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and MA in Epistemology of Natural and Social Sciences (UCM). My research interests include a variety of topics regarding philosophy of science: formal and informal logic, pragmadialectics, theory of knowledge, science policy and, more recently, RRI (Responsible Research and Innovation), anticipation studies and philosophy of nanotechnology.
I am currently pursuing my PhD as a FPI fellow within the PRAXIS Research Project “Responsible emerging technologies: the construction of socio-technical futures through open anticipatory governance (TERGA)”, led by Andoni Ibarra and Hannot Rodríguez. My doctoral research relates to the implementation of operational mechanisms of open anticipatory governance to one of the fields of R+D+i in nanotechnology: nanomedicine. In order to do so, I actively collaborate with and work at the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2) under the tutelage of Víctor Puntes (ICREA), promoting an open anticipatory experience within the framework of productive dynamics of the company Applied Nanoparticles (AppNPs).
