Este trabajo proporciona la primera cuantificación sistemática y evidencia geométrica de las limitaciones de precisión astronómica que los métodos lineales de partición celeste presentan en comparación con un método no lineal en latitudes oblicuas. El análisis computacional reveló que una suposición lineal sobre un fenómeno fundamentalmente no lineal produce un error temporal acumulativo de hasta 30 minutos (Alcabitio, Regiomontano) y de hasta 72 minutos (Campano, Koch) entre dos cúspides. Estos resultados demuestran que la hipótesis subyacente (inherente a todas las particiones uniformes) es geométricamente insostenible en los horizontes oblicuos. Este error, cuantificable y cuantificado, aclara la justificación matemática en virtud de la cual los métodos que suponen uniformidad (Regiomontano, especialmente) fueron superados, lo que exige una reevaluación histórica de su presunta exactitud física. El análisis confirma que el método del movimiento diurno, al reconocer todos los círculos de declinación posibles en cualquier latitud (incluyendo las regiones polares), se establece como el sistema de coordenadas histórico naturalmente compatible con el verdadero transcurso no uniforme del tiempo (i.e., posición específica de cada grado eclíptico con relación al horizonte local). Los métodos de partición de Alcabitio y Koch constituyen variaciones uniformes simplificadas del cálculo oblicuo complejo (originalmente proporcionado por Ptolomeo, siglo dos) mientras el de Regiomontano una variación también lineal matemáticamente equivalente a la utilizada por Campano de Novara (siglo trece). This work provides the first systematic quantification and geometric evidence of the astronomical precision limitations that linear methods of celestial partition present compared to a non-linear method in oblique latitudes. As opposed to previous critiques, which have focused upon textual or philosophical exegesis, we set forth the necessary mathematical evidence through applied spherical geometry at 57º N. Computational analysis revealed that a linear assumption upon a fundamentally non-linear phenomenon produces a cumulative temporal error of up to 30 minutes (Alcabitius, Regiomontanus) and of up to 72 minutes (Campanus, Koch) between two cusps. These results demonstrate that the underlying assumption—inherent in all uniform partitions—is geometrically untenable in oblique horizons. This error, quantifiable and quantified, clarifies the mathematical justification pursuant to which methods that assume uniformity (Regiomontanus, in particular), were historically superseded, requiring a historical reassessment of their presumed physical accuracy. The analysis confirms that the method of diurnal motion, by recognising all possible circles of declination at any latitude (including polar circles), establishes itself as the historical coordinate system naturally compatible with the true and non-uniform passage of time across the celestial sphere. The Alcabitius and Koch partition methods constitute simplified uniform variations of the complex oblique calculation—originally set forth by Ptolemy in the second century—whereas that of Regiomontanus an also linear variation mathematically equivalent to that used by Campanus in the thirteenth century. Because the time of arrival of the sun or its ecliptic degrees is a daily changing, non-uniform physical reality, this work demonstrates that only a method that is not uniform-dependent can accurately reflect arrival times.

The foundational principle of interpreting a configurational schema—such as an astrograph—is its synergistic nature. No isolated placement or single placement within the schema can unilaterally determine an outcome; rather, the result emerges exclusively from the combined and concerted action of all elements. This echoes methodologies in complex, real-world disciplines like medicine, forensic psychology, and jurisprudence, where the integration of all variables yields a final result that transcends a mere aggregation of individual components. An isolated placement is inherently common across a vast population. For instance, a specific planetary position, such as Saturn in the ninth sector, will not manifest identically or produce the same effects across all charts in which it appears. Instead, its expression is necessarily contingent upon the composition of the entire schema, much like how a single disease manifests with unique specificity in different patients. This perspective necessitates a composite analysis or synthetic methodology capable of generating what may be termed configurational or astrographical sequencing. This concept not only captures the holistic spirit of classical interpretive texts—such as Jean-Baptiste Morin’s Astrologia Gallica (1661)—but also provides a framework for establishing specific distinctions between ostensibly similar configurations (e.g., those separated by short temporal intervals). To refine this sequencing approach, we discern between heterogeneous and homogeneous sectors (types 1-6) and propose a two-stage process for delineation: microsynthesis (analysis relative to a specific sector) and macrosynthesis (integration of all twelve microsyntheses relative to the entire schema).

● Mucho más relevante que la complejidad o simplicidad de un método de medir las casas es si dicha división se mantiene fiel a la física del cielo (i.e. si tiene sentido alguno). ● Dado que la astrología no goza de una institución central que decida qué es válido y qué no, consideramos que lo mínimo que pueden hacer los astrólogos es respetar las verdades confirmadas por la ciencia. La física enseña que no podemos separar el tiempo del espacio o el espacio del tiempo, pues sostienen una relación ininterrumpida o indisoluble que llamamos continuo, un plano constituido de cuatro dimensiones (i.e. las tres del espacio aunadas a la única del tiempo) denominado espaciotiempo, y que el tiempo no es absoluto sino relativo (dependiente de los marcos de referencia). ● La astrología (que no es horoscopismo sino una de las consecuencias de la física) apela a diferentes métodos de medir las regiones astrográficas (i.e. casas) y los ha clasificado entre métodos espaciales y métodos temporales (según cuál de los dos conceptos decide la subdivisión del arco diurno), pero esta clasificación resulta impertinente ante la realidad que nos gobierna. Uno que puede ser confirmado compatible con nuestra realidad debe ser empleado en todo momento para todo tipo de astrografía, es decir, uno verdadera o esencialmente basado en el espaciotiempo sin presentar, a la misma vez, ninguno de los errores característicos de otros sistemas de casas. Veremos que solo uno de ellos es compatible con la relatividad, pues mientras los demás nos harían hacer creer que el tiempo es absoluto, el método Placidus de medición de las casas nos enseña que es relativo. ● La diferencia estriba en la capacidad de un método para reconocer los tiempos ascensionales de no solo los doce segmentos de nuestra eclíptica en distintas latitudes, sino también de cada grado de dicha circunferencia simultánea e ininterrumpidamente, es decir, temporalmente simultánea y espacialmente ininterrumpida durante sus trayectorias desde el horizonte (ASC) hasta el medio cielo (MC). Hemos concluido, con base en el análisis de las cúspides de casas, que solamente la fórmula placidiana puede cumplir la promesa antes referida, es decir, hacer posible medir las duraciones del tiempo bajo tales condiciones. ● Mientras las mediciones del tiempo Alcabitius y Koch asignan velocidades (i.e. tiempos de ascensión oblicua) ficticias a todos los grados contenidos entre el horizonte (ASC) y el medio cielo (MC), Placidus se ocupa de medir las velocidades o los tiempos verdaderos de todos. La medida más newtoniana de todos los métodos de división de casas, Regiomontanus, a su turno, se aferra al espacio a expensas del tiempo, razón por la cual no puede reflejar las verdaderas posiciones de los planetas en el espaciotiempo (ignora la relación del espacio con el tiempo). ● Durante el proceso demostrativo, aprovechamos la ocasión para señalar que la velocidad (relatividad especial) y la gravedad (relatividad general) no constituyen las únicas (dos) expresiones principales de la dilatación del tiempo. La inclinación o basculación de los marcos de referencia (i.e. la inclinación del eje de la Tierra con relación al plano de la eclíptica, si bien la velocidad sigue siendo una variable, mientras la gravedad, a su vez, una posibilidad que exploraremos en los apéndices) constituye una tercera expresión. ● Animamos a todo físico y/o astrónomo a corroborar nuestras observaciones con sus propias herramientas. Por nuestra parte, hemos empleado el software astrológico/astronómico Solar Fire Gold, si bien las astrografías o mapas provienen del software astrológico/astronómico Janus.

● Much more relevant than the simplicity or complexity of a method of measuring the houses is whether such a division remains true to the physics of the sky (i.e. whether it makes any sense at all). ● Because astrology has no central institution to decide what is valid and what is not, we believe that the least astrologists should do is to respect the truths confirmed by science. Physics teaches that we cannot separate time from space or space from time, for they stand in an unbreakable or indissoluble relationship which we call continuum, a plane made up of four dimensions (i.e. the three of space plus the one of time) regarded as spacetime, and that time is not absolute but relative (dependent on frames of reference). ● Astrology — which is not horoscopism but one of the consequences of physics — appeals to different methods of measuring segments of our horizon known as houses, sectors, or regions and has classified them into space-based measurements and time-based measurements (according to which of the two concepts decides the subdivision of the diurnal arc), but said classification is impertinent according to the reality that governs us. ● One that can be confirmed to be compatible with our reality is to be employed at all times for all types of charts, that is to say, one that is truly or essentially spacetime-based without, at the same time, presenting any of the errors characteristic of other house systems. We will see that only one will be compatible with relativity, for while the others would have us believe that time is absolute, the Placidus method of house measurement will show us that it is relative. ● The difference lies in the ability of a method to recognise the different ascensional times of not only the twelve segments of our ecliptic at different latitudes but also of each degree of said circumference simultaneously and uninterruptedly, that is, temporally simultaneously and spatially uninterruptedly during their trajectories from the horizon (ASC) to the midheaven (MC). We concluded, based on the house cusp analysis, that only the Placidean formula can carry out this promise, that is, make it possible to measure the lengths of time under said conditions. ● While the Alcabitius and Koch measurements of time assign fictional speeds — i.e. times of oblique ascension — to all degrees contained between the horizon (ASC) and the midheaven (MC), Placidus takes care to measure the speeds or true times for all. The measurement most Newtonian of all the methods of house division, Regiomontanus, in turn, clings to space at the expense of time, the reason for which it cannot reflect the true positions of the planets in spacetime (ignores the relationship between space and time). ● During the demonstrational process, we take the opportunity of pointing out that velocity (special relativity) and gravity (general relativity) do not constitute the only — two — primary forms of time dilation. The tilt of a reference frame relative to another (that of Earth relative to the plane of our ecliptic, although velocity remains a variable, whereas gravity, in turn, a possibility we will explore in the appendices) constitutes the third form. ● We encourage any physicist and/or astronomer to corroborate our observations with their own tools. For our part, we have employed the astrological/astronomical software Solar Fire Gold, although the astrographs come from the astrological/astronomical software Janus.

● Un emplazamiento cualquiera (v. gr. sol en Tauro; Marte en Capricornio; Mercurio en la tercera casa) es necesariamente común a decenas de miles de personas. Saturno hospedado en la novena casa, por ejemplo, no se comportará de la misma manera o no producirá los mismos efectos en las veinte o cien cartas en que allí lo encontremos, sino en concordancia con el resto de la composición astrográfica (como hospedarnos en el mismo hotel en diferentes épocas o diferentes personas haber contraído la misma enfermedad; nuestra estadía será diferente cada vez, según la época, y no todos los enfermos presentarán los mismos síntomas, según su metabolismo; por no mencionar que cada astrografía, como cada código o secuencia genética, es irrepetible). Ciertamente, “ningún planeta puede, por sí solo, producir lo que solamente la acción mancomunada o conjunta de todos puede” (BUSTAMANTE, 2023, revista SPICA, págs. 93-111). He aquí la naturaleza o condición sinérgica del ejercicio interpretativo (i.e., el todo es poco más que la suma de todas sus partes). ● El componente fundamental de la expresión matemática del ejercicio interpretativo lo constituye la triangulación astrológica, denominación funcional de lo que conocemos como síntesis (WEISS, 1946; LEO, 1983; HAND, 1981). ● Con el fin de demostrar su utilidad, así como la conveniencia de su expresión matemática, hemos escogido dos individuos (JEFFREY DAHMER, STEVEN SPIELBERG) cuyas astrografías no explican, según la comunidad, sus vidas. El resto de las astrografías corresponden a las de los asesinos en serie JOHN WAYNE GACY, DAVID CARPENTER y TED BUNDY. ● A través de notaciones algebraicas, explicamos la síntesis y los valores funcionales que la componen. ● Tomamos la luna y Neptuno como planetas relevantes a propósito del diagnóstico o el estudio de asuntos endocrinos o neurohormonales y a Marte, Plutón y Saturno como planetas relevantes a los fines de inferir violencia o comportamiento siniestro, según el caso, y las cuadraturas u oposiciones —y conjunciones— entre Venus y la luna, la luna y Neptuno o entre el sol o Venus y Neptuno o Urano como indicadores de desórdenes neurohormonales y/o de desviación sexual (definición APA). ● Consideramos las cuadraturas u oposiciones —y conjunciones— entre: Mercurio o la luna y Saturno, o entre Marte o la luna y Saturno, Urano, Neptuno y/o Plutón como poderosos indicios de violencia o de desequilibrio, según el caso. ● También hemos considerado a Sagitario como un signo tan expansivo y abundante como su regente, Júpiter, según la mejor de sus caracterizaciones (o excepcionalmente raudo y salvaje, según otras), y a la quinta región de un mapa natal como una estrechamente relacionada con la fortuna en sentido amplio (material e inmaterial). ● Debido a que defendemos la idea según la cual los orbes deben predicarse del planeta (tamaño, velocidad), no del aspecto, a los gigantes gaseosos (Júpiter, Saturno, Urano y Neptuno) y al sol les hemos concedido hasta 10º de orbe (o 12º, en el caso de la influencia amplia ). ● Entendemos las relaciones aspectuales como relaciones angulares sostenidas entre dos o más cuerpos celestes emplazados en signos con al menos una propiedad en común (según nuestra teoría molecular de la eclíptica, compatible con la teoría óptica de los aspectos de la tradición helenística).

● Any given placement (e.g. Sun in Taurus; Mars in Capricorn; Mercury in the third house) is necessarily common to tens of thousands of people. Saturn in the ninth house, for example, will not behave the same or produce the same effects in the twenty or one hundred charts in which we find it there. In each case Saturn will behave in accordance with the rest of the astrographic/chart composition (as if we stayed in the same hotel in different epochs or different people contracted the same disease; our stay will be different each time, according to the epoch, and each person’s symptoms will too, be different, according to their individual biochemistry; not to mention that each chart or astrography, like each genetic code or sequence, is unrepeatable). Certainly, “no planet can produce, on its own, what only the combined or concerted action of all can” (BUSTAMANTE, 2023, SPICA magazine, pp. 93-111). Hence the synergistic nature of the interpretative exercise (i.e., the whole is greater than all its parts). The fundamental component of the mathematical expression of the interpretive exercise is: astrological triangulation, the functional denomination for what we know as synthesis (WEISS, 1946; LEO, 1983, HAND, 1981). In order to demonstrate its usefulness, as well as the convenience of its mathematical expression, we have chosen two individuals (JEFFREY DAHMER, STEVEN SPIELBERG) whose astrographies do not—according to the community—explain their lives. The rest of the astrographies correspond to those of serial killers JOHN WAYNE GACY, DAVID CARPENTER, and TED BUNDY. ● We explain, by means of algebraic notations, the synthesis and the functional values that make up the synthesis. ● We take the Moon and Neptune as relevant bodies for the purpose of diagnosing or studying endocrine or neurohormonal issues, and Mars, Pluto, and Saturn as relevant planets for the purpose of inferring violence or sinister behaviour, upon the case, and quadratures or oppositions—and conjunctions—between Venus and the Moon, the Moon and Neptune, and the Sun or Venus and Neptune or Uranus as indicators of neurohormonal disorders and/or sexual deviance (APA definition). ● We consider quadratures (90º) or oppositions (180º)—and conjunctions—between Mercury or the Moon and Saturn, or between Mars or the Moon and Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and/or Pluto as powerful indications of violence or mental disorders, upon the case. ● We have also regarded Sagittarius as a sign as expansive and abundant as its ruler, Jupiter, according to the best of its characterisations (or as an exceptionally swift and wild sign, according to other characterisations), and the fifth region of a natal chart as one closely related to fortune in a broad sense (material and immaterial). ● Because we advocate the idea that orbs should be predicated of the planet (size, speed), not the aspect itself, the gas giants (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) and the Sun have been granted up to 10º of orb (or 12º, in the case of broad influence ). We understand aspectual relationships as angular relationships held between two or more celestial bodies placed in signs with at least one property in common (according to our molecular theory of the ecliptic, compatible with the optical theory of the aspects from the Hellenistic tradition).

● The Ferromagnetic Analogy (Essential Dignities): The zodiac constitutes a division of the ecliptic into twelve 30º segments through which celestial bodies transmit varying intensities of energy. The theory compares planetary dignities to ferromagnetism, a physical phenomenon where magnetic moments align to create a powerful, centralised magnetic field. When a planet transits a compatible ecliptic segment, it undergoes a similar molecular or kinetic phenomenon that intensifies its power, providing a physical explanation for traditional domiciles and exaltations. ● Paramagnetic Antagonism (Debilities): When a celestial body occupies an incompatible sign, it experiences chemical or molecular antagonism. This reaction is likened to paramagnetism, providing a biochemical explanation for planetary debilities and depressions. ● Aspects as Biochemical Bonds: Astrological aspects are redefined as biochemical phenomena rather than purely optical relationships. Signs must share specific properties—such as element, polarity, or modality—to form aspects, functioning similarly to covalent bonds in chemistry. These angular geometric relationships form regular polygons that emulate the behavior of matter in the natural world, reflecting fractal properties and the Golden Ratio. ●The Quantum-Electromagnetic Framework: The theory acknowledges that while everyday electronic devices emit stronger local electromagnetic energy than distant planets, planetary influence likely operates on a deeper quantum level. It hypothesises that these mechanisms may involve String Theory or quantum entanglement, while being fundamentally supported by the infinite, albeit weak, reach of electromagnetic and gravitational forces that govern all universal biochemistry. ● Earth’s Biospheric Uniqueness: Earth’s distinct 23º axial tilt creates inequalities in light distribution throughout the year. This tilt is directly responsible for a molecularly diverse, or heterogeneous, zodiac and abundant terrestrial biodiversity, which would not exist on a planet without such an inclination (e.g. Venus).
