David L. Hildebrand is Associate Professor and Chair of Philosophy at the University of Colorado Denver. He has also taught at University of Memphis, Rice University, Christian Brothers University, St. Edward’s University, the University of Houston, and Austin Community of College. He specializes in the philosophy of John Dewey and on the philosophical areas of pragmatism and neopragmatism. Other philosophical interests include pragmatic objectivity, and the various ways experience can shape (and be shaped by) practices in aesthetics, education, and technology.
