From 2009 to 2017 I worked at Davidson College in North Carolina as Professor of Applied Ethics and Director of the Vann Center for Ethics. Previously I taught at the Army War College, Santa Clara University, and Seattle University. I earned a B.A. in Religion at Pacific Lutheran University and an A.M.Div. and Ph.D. in ethics from the University of Chicago Divinity School.
