I am David Landy, the author of Kant's Inferentialism and Hume's Science of Human Nature. In addition to Hume and Kant, I also have research interests in the work of Wilfrid Sellars, Mary Shepherd, and topics in the philosophy of mind and language.
From 2009 to 2025, I was a professor in the Department of Philosophy at San Francisco State University. I am currently serving as the Interim Dean of the College of Liberal & Creative Arts.
