David Anderson is developing a comprehensive conception of mind and language grounded in phenomenal consciousness that includes an original semantic theory -- semantic dualism (1995, 2002) -- which grows out of an original theory of intentionality -- moral status theory of intentionality (2012a). Earlier work on realism issues, esp. that of Hilary Putnam (1992, 1993) bear on the new theory of mind and language.
