I'm professor of philosophy at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, and Coordinator of the Graduate Center's Interdisciplinary Concentration in Cognitive Science.

I'm also on the faculty of the Graduate Center's M.S. Program in Cognitive Neuroscience and their Program in Linguistics.

I work mainly in philosophy of mind, philosophy of psychology, and cognitive science, especially on consciousness, mental qualitative character, intentionality, and the self.

I also work some in philosophy of language, metaphysics, and a bit of early Modern and Ancient.
