I'm a full professor in the Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University. My published research has been on agency and responsibility, personal identity and ethics, humor and morality, social/political philosophy, moral psychology, and applied ethics. I organize and host the biennial New Orleans Workshop on Agency and Responsibility (from which the series I edit, Oxford Studies in Agency and Responsibility, draws its papers), I have been an associate editor at the journal Ethics since 2017, and, with David Sobel, co-edited the moral/political philosophy blog PEA Soup until 2022.
