I am currently developing a game to allow students to re-enact the contentious reception of Descartes' philosophy in the Netherlands. My present research includes an analysis of Ashoka's project of toleration and self-effacing consequentialism in the Bhagavad-Gita.
I am also a co-investigator for the Integrating Civil Discourse into the Curriculum project, which is funded by a grant from the Department of Education and administered by the University of Notre Dame.
