I teach philosophy and ethics at several community colleges in central NJ. I run a personal blog at metaphysico.blogspot.com, where I write about a wide range of topics.
I'm primarily interested in understanding how the mind works. Over the years, I've studied issues related to evolutionary psychology, foundations of cognitive science, modularity theories, dual process theory, consciousness, and free will. Lately, I've been writing and thinking about the ethics and psychology of eating meat and moral veganism.
