Declan Smithies

I am Professor of Philosophy at the Ohio State University. My first book on the epistemic role of consciousness explores connections between philosophy of mind and epistemology. My second book on deductive moral knowledge explores connections between epistemology and ethics. I hope to complete the triangle by writing a third book on the ethical significance of consciousness, which will explore connections between ethics and philosophy of mind.
