My research interests include philosophy of mind (especially nature of emotion and phenomenological approaches to understanding mind), moral psychology, and various issues in medical ethics. I am the author of Emotions as Original Existences: A Theory of Emotion, Motivation, and the Self (Palgrave Macmillan, 2020), and recently completed my second book, The Phenomenal Nature of Mind which is due to be published in early 2027 as part of the Routledge Studies in Contemporary Philosophy series.
