Dennis Nicholson is the author of 'Self, Consciousness, and Being: The Transcendent Perspective', a book (see below) that argues that the transcendent self-view it describes and defends is the best design for the human self and also shows how to resolve the hard problem of consciousness. He is also the author of 'Everyday Transcendence: The Way of Psychology. Ultimately deciding to devote himself full-time to developing ideas first envisaged during philosophy of science and psychology classes taken at Edinburgh University prior to graduating in 1973, he left his post to set out the logical and observational case for the transcendent self-view, presented in his book on the subject.
