101Awakening ‘the Indian genius’: The epistemic aims of Indian liberatory educationEducational Philosophy and Theory 1-12. 2025.This paper explores the goals of the twentieth century liberatory education movement in India. The movement comprises of anti-colonial freedom fighters who conducted small and large-scale educational experiments in resistance to the stultifying methods of British education.
