I am a political philosopher working at the intersection of theories of justice, critical theory, and the politics of recognition, with a research recently focused on climate justice and the normative tensions generated by pluralism and public disagreement over the green transition in liberal democracies. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, University of Catania, where I work on the project “L’influenza della concezione di autonomia morale kantiana nelle teorie politiche contemporanee con particolare riguardo al dibattito sulla giustizia climatica,” under the supervision of Prof. Luigi Caranti. Previously, a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Institute of Law, Politics, and Development (DIRPOLIS) at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (2023-2024), Italy. I obtained my Ph.D. (2017-2021) and Master (2015-2017) in philosophy at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil, under the supervision of Prof. Denilson Werle and Prof. Alessandro Pinzani, and worked as a research fellow at the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Catania (2022-2023), Italy. Currently, I am working as a research staff member and investigator at the Marie-Curie Staff Exchange Project “JUSTLA - Justice in the 21st Century: A Perspective from Latin America” (No. 101183054); and I was a member of the MSCA project KANTINSA – Kant in South America (No. 777786), coordinated by Prof. Luigi Caranti. Additionally, I was a visiting researcher at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (Peru), University of São Paulo (Brazil), Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), CONICET (Argentina), at the Chaire Hoover in Belgium, and at the Center for Humanities and Social Change Berlin at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Germany).
