I am a lecturer in the Philosophy of Education as the Wits School of Education. I completed my PhD in Philosophy at the University of Auckland and thereafter took up a postdoctoral fellowship in the University of Johannesburg’s Philosophy Department. My research interests are broadly in Philosophy of Education and African Philosophy of Education. My background is in Continental Philosophy, particularly Phenomenology and Hermeneutics, and I am interested in how these traditions can inform and develop Philosophy of Education.
