My research originates in philosophy of science and epistemology, with a focus on foundational questions raised by the sciences of intelligent systems. I examine developments in cognitive science and artificial intelligence through a philosophical lens, using these inquiries to inform normative theories of learning, reasoning, knowledge, and action. This work is guided by a broader agenda: to illuminate the principles of rationality and intelligent behaviour.
