I work in the history of philosophy, intellectual history, metaphysics, social philosophy, ethics and political theory. My two main current projects concern (1) Gassendi's interpretation and defence of Epicurean hedonism and (2) Locke and other early modern British authors on testimony and other epistemological subjects.
