Eduardo Federico Gutierrez Gonzalez

I am a responsible, well-organized, and committed professional academic. I have a profound interest for analogical reasoning and imagination as powerful tools to overcome false mental oppositions and to catalyse improbable dialogues in diverse scenarios: thus, my efforts for bridging the gap between academic discussions and socio-political initiatives, my research concerning the cognitive common-grounds between science and religion, and my current project of contributing to peace building processes from theological reflection, principally in Colombia. I have an interdisciplinary and versatile profile, and in a more personal level, I am an empathic, curious, reflexive, socially-engaged and fast learning person – this has also spurred my interest in education in various levels, and motivated me to appreciate working with young adults, esp. in faith-based initiatives.
