My formal philosophical work focuses on the paradox of physicalism -- it seems there cannot be (metaphysical claim) world states or events that do not reduce to the categories of science; yet physicalism (e.g., neural/physical states) do not causally or nomologically account for consciousness (an existentially quantified world state). I have also worked on the failure of classical epistemology to tell us what we can know; leading me to focus on constructivist projects in epistemology.
