I received my PhD from University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004. I worked at University of Texas Pan-American for a year and did three years as a research fellow at the National University of Singapore's philosophy department, before taking a post at Qatar University's Department of Humanities where I worked from 2008 - 2025, and established the university's first philosophy program. Since then did a year at Habib University in Karachi, and look forward to joining the faculty at Bogazici University in Istanbul for AY 2026-27.
