I am a university lecturer in the Faculty of education, University of Oulu, Finland. My main area is philosophy of education broadly and theory of education and semiotics of education specifically. I am also a coordinator of the website of the international network of semiotics of education. My main research project is "Ontologically based action theoretical semiotics of education"
