I am a PhD candidate in political theory at the Department of Politics at Princeton University. Starting July 2027, I will be joining the University of Hong Kong as an assistant professor in the Faculty of Law. My dissertation research explores the role of democratic decision-making within social movements, particularly those dealing with climate emergencies. I combine political theory with fieldwork, deriving theoretical insights through observing the organizing meetings and actions of a U.S. climate activist group. I also have interests in international law, jurisprudence and legal theory, immigration ethics, and animal ethics.
