I am a PhD candidate in philosophy at the University of Miami, and a philosophy instructor at the University of Houston-Downtown. In the fall I will be an Assistant Professor at St.Bonaventure University.

My research is at the intersection of social philosophy, the philosophy of language, metametaphysics, and value theory (aesthetics). I am especially interested in how language functions to reinforce norms and reveal group boundaries.
