I am a PhD candidate in philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. My primary research is in epistemology, and specifically the relationship between formal and traditional epistemology. My dissertation is on the relationship between belief and credence. In it, I defend and explore implications of dualism about belief and credence. Dualism is the view that we have both beliefs and credences, and neither attitude is reducible to the other. I am also interested in questions in philosophy of mind (e.g. the nature of belief) and philosophy of religion (e.g. faith, Pascal’s Wager). My website is liz-jackson.com.
