I’m a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I also completed my MA. I grew up in Martin, Tennessee, and earned my BA in Philosophy from UT Martin. My main research explores René Descartes — especially questions about skepticism, whether he believed in miracles, and debates about his stance on theism. I’m also interested in the philosophy of immersion, and in the ethical and aesthetic questions that come up when we think about twins.
